Sofia Richie Grainge on the Health Wisdom She Plans to Share With Her Daughter

Sofia Richie Grainge’s pregnancy announcement ignited a storm of excitement back in January—and the buzz hasn’t dimmed since.

The 25-year-old has chosen to keep her due date a mystery, but she recently hinted that her baby girl will make her debut during the Gemini season (sometime between May 21 and June 20).

Throughout her pregnancy journey, the model has consistently impressed fans with her impeccable sense of style, both in terms of street style and red carpet fashion. Yet, everyone’s eager for more than just fashion updates. They’re also curious about the influence she’ll have on our daughter’s future beauty routine.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Richie Grainge delved into precisely that, shedding more light on her pregnancy beauty and highlighting a product that has become her go-to in recent months. She also shared the health philosophy she plans to pass on to her baby girl, inspired by her own mother.

Health

“My mom is a Greek woman,” Richie Grainge begins. “She is very much about health, whether that’s hair health, skin health—but most of all internal health. She’s always instilled in me eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, exercising, and that beauty doesn’t really shine on the outside unless it’s shining on the inside.

So she always taught me to have a routine. I followed the same routine for so many years and was mindful of what I put in my body and how I take care of myself. So that’s definitely something that I will pass on to my daughter.”

Hair

“When I found out I was pregnant, my doctor was like, you’re totally fine to [color your hair],” Richie Grainge told Bazaar. “So I’ve just been doing some golden pieces around the framing of my face to just keep everything connected. I’m not doing a full set of highlights, but I’ve continued to tone and do those brightening pieces every three to four months.”

Richie Grainge adds that she goes to the salon once a month to tone her hair, too. “That’s my little secret routine that I have going just because I just feel like the tone kind of gets off, whether it’s from showers or swimming or whatever it may be,” she explains.

Skin

While one might expect the mom-to-be to rattle off a slew of pregnancy-safe beauty products, there’s one product that’s been an unexpected win. “You know what I will tell you has been a ‘yes’ for me throughout my pregnancy is these ice face rollers,” she told the outlet. “I have been waking up feeling so puffy. They’ve been super helpful.”

But ice rollers aren’t the only skin-care tools she’s relied on. This past February, she took to TikTok to share another tool “can’t say enough good things about.” Enter the LYMA Laser ($2,695). She told followers that she uses the treatment “every night before bed when I’m watching a movie,” explaining it’s “truly changed” her skin. It’s pricey, but she insists that it transformed her skin “within a week.”
